The Public Power Council (PPC) is a voice for consumer-owned electric utilities in the Northwest. 

Since 1966, we have been representing the interests of municipal utilities, public and people's utility districts, and rural electric cooperatives.

arrow 06/15/2011: PPC intervenes in Iberdrola, et al complaint regarding Bonneville's environmental redispatch at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. PPC intervened because Northwest ratepayers should not have to replace lost federal and state subsidies desired by wind producers at times when there is already too much generation pouring onto the system.
